Zara is great if you get their stuff on sale, which a ton of their catalogue is nearly all the time.
The cuts on their pants generally assume your calves are very slim though, so if you happen to have some fat on there you have to be pretty careful about the sizing.

not him but i can understand why he's frustrated. this is a fashion board which should be about the artistry behind clothes but most if not all the threads/posts here about trying to dress so you fit in with trends. thats not a bad thing either but its the only thing that people talk about here because most of us dont know anything beyond that

>> No.13348397

>>13348381
I understand but whats the alternative? Not everyone can afford to spend that much money on clothes. Nor does everyone live in a super fashionable place where trends are even detectable. Id be literally the only person in my town wearing trousers like that lmao.

Theres nothing controversial or new about me saying uniqlo is the death of creative fashion. Hell Fruits magazine cited it as the reason they shut down their whole operation. Because they felt it killed creative fashion in Tokyo. I wouldn't even go that far myself I just think the brand is boring
>>13348381
Pretty much this. Theres a middle ground between dressing like a bozo and being an insecure follower who dresses to fit in. Uniqlo has great basics but if this board is citing full uniqlo as "inspo" we are in a sad state

Thats what I do lmao, stop acting like /fa/ is the epicentre of creative fashion on the internet. One look at a WAYWT will dispel that.

>> No.13348565

>>13348551
Not sure why you're being so defensive. Nobody told you your stance was invalid. It's interesting to me that you're so heated over your ability to be apathetic and complacent about clothes. For what it's worth I dont exactly dress groundbreaking, but I do post my fits all the time

>> No.13348577

>>13348551
no one is talking about how good /fa/ is where did you get that from? he's just trying to tell you that wearing clothes and caring about others' perception of you isnt what fashion is about. i understand that people dont want to take advice from people that aren't fashionable themselves but 'talk shit post fit' almost always guarantees that you will look at whatever they post trying to tear it down people get too worked up over nothing

I'm saying talk shit post fit because I'm being told that liking Uniqlo makes you drab and boring even though 90% of this board shops there.

And I don't care what other people think, I care about what I think. And sticking out in a really jarring way is not what I consider dressing well.

>> No.13348637

>>13348604
Being apathetic and not discussing clothes doesnt make your stance invalid. You clearly dont care about fashion more than looking good, and theres nothing wrong with that. That's a valid life choice you dont have to be some troglodyte no life like me who actually invests time in to this shit.
