Check out all this shit I bought recently. High polish brass zippo wind proof lighter, orange patagonia corduroy pants, seiko alpinist mechanical wrist watch, persol hand made italian sunglasses.

I don’t like the pants.
The lighter is fine.
Alpinists are great.
I would have gotten 714s but you can’t go wrong with Persol.

That probably sounds way more like a complement than you intended.

Cool watch OP. I have that exact one, and had a lot of fun combining it with different straps/bracelets (my current one is a light brown lizard skin strap).

Other than that, the sunglasses are OK, I don't like the pants' color, but it should be max comfy. The zippo is eh.

nice watch. return the pants, sunglasses and lighter. buy Barton perreira instead of persol

People who have their special zippo are fucking tryhards, just use a bic like a normal person. It works better and you know it.

>buy cheap disposable shit instead of something that will last

>> No.13294963

I really loathe this fetishization of cheap disposable shit. I'm sorry, I actually like high quality things that feel sturdy and will last a really long time. I also got a bottle of lighter fluid to go with my lighter. Poor people need to just fuck off and die if they have to try to make people who can afford a fucking brass zippo lighter regret spending fucking 15 bucks. It's pathetic. 15 dollars is fucking nothing.

Bic butanes are usually over $1.50 US. 10 of those and you've paid for the Zippo. Lighter fluid is cheap. Zippos last a lietime. Zippo's cheaper in the long run.

I bet you're exactly the kind of person who has a smartwatch. I'll prove it to you.

>People who have their mechanical watches are fucking tryhards, just use a smartwatch like a normal person. It works better and you know it.

it's apparent that your ethos of preference towards disposable garbage is indicative of your equally shit personality

It doesn't even matter to me. I have money and I like to have fun spending it on stuff. Pens, watches, clothes, collectible books, plushies, audio equipment, sex toys, I just enjoy spending money.

>> No.13296001

>>13295991
then why not spend it on something that'll last you a lifetime versus gimmicky shit that breaks easily and isn't designed to last longer than the time it takes me to shit out last nights drunken curry binge?

>> No.13296159

>>13296001
That's literally the point I was trying to make though. I like buckram bound books, brass zippos, titanium pens, my watches are the victorinox airboss, seiko alpinist, and fortis spacematic pilot, my clothes are leather shoes and jeans and a dense cotton field jacket. I really like stuff that feels solid and you can build sentimental value off of because it's actually made to last a lifetime.

>t. never owned a zippo for a long period of time
You know how many fucking wicks and flints I've changed out of my zippo, and the amount I've spent on fluid? I only ever starting using one because it was a gift, and I continued to use it because while everyone will swipe your bic, no one will pinch a zippo.
