I have a PLETHORA of button down shirts, and tshirts of every color, so that is not a problem. Neither is the confidence, so I have no problem wearing leather. Especially on the rare chilly days in Southern CA, which are few and far in between this year!

Just didn't feel like wearing a flannel and wanted to do a button down. Had never given any though to blue and black clashing, since it seems that black pretty much goes with anything.

Hey bud , how goes? I agree with your assessment about the chelsea boots and jackets entirely. Two contradictory images really, and I would rather wear harness boots or engineer boots, but this is for work. Think of my fit more like business casual with kind of a rocker edge, and then throw a leather jacket over it all because leather jackets rock. The pants actually are slim, but not tight perse like 510's or some of the other pants I have that are just too fucking tight IMO. I can't agree about the shirt however. Upon further investigation, I cannot find any solid reason not to wear black and blue together - it's just subjective. I actually really like the fit of the Rock and Republic button downs, although that particular shirt is not my favorite, I like it ok enough to wear it to the office.

It's either this or some preppy polo shirt with slacks, and I ain't going out like that.

Listing sizes for anybody interested in my proportions to get a mental image.
