1967, or 1978. It's a tough call. The rest could be good, but they could also be too wildly ostentatious for me. In general, I favor his 1960s Mod period, and the Thin White Duke era (1975-1979). The 1980s, 1990s, 2000s, and 2010s also have plenty of flattering photographs of Bowie. Probably the most extreme of these pictures are the ones from the early 1970s and 1987, but Bowie did extreme well.
