thanks man, they also have a little of sentimental value and over time they'll get more patches so its sort of a process, but yeah they looked a bit better when they weren't that worn but i think they'll look good again when the get completely fucked up. Future patches will also be in a more similar material to make the composition less chaotic, and perhaps adding the patches on the interior so it seems a bit less raggedy

your body type and dress style (for now) are very close to what reddit is used to, and they will help you much more taking the first steps to being "ok" dressed. MFA will give you tips on where to get ok fitting clothes, and how to coordinate them to make "ok" fits. To take it to the next step, you need to look at inspo threads/other people's fits from here, maybe reddit, definitely sufu. But that won't be for a while.

He's not wrong and neither are you. 4chan is not a good place to grow fashion-wise but it's better than reddit. There's a certain level of hive mind here but far less than reddit. The voting system and politeness of everyone over there keeps all the fits pretty boring. At least here on an anonymous board you can post whatever you want, no matter how outlandish, without fear of lasting damage. That and the wide range of people who end up here means that despite all the shitty ripped jeans and vans fits there is still room for experimentation.

You'll get shit all over here for your mistakes but you can get some honest criticism here among the shitposting so even if you try something new, you'll probably end up better for it, however it's received.

Right dude has poor posture, which makes the coat appear too large even though I suspect it's the correct size for his measurements. The pants fit better along the leg but are too long, which is why the break looks so bad.

Overall both outfits are pretty bland an unoffensive but each could look so much better with proper sizing/tailoring.

My criticism is not in depth rather very surface level.

Current fashion has worked like all fashion in history of everyone wearing roughly the sameish clothing so no one sticks out and looks like an odd ball. This gives a lot of cool historical fashion that we look back on and go "man I wish I could walk around in a suit of armour too bad id be seen as an odd ball."

But while living in the now we concern ourselves of what looks GOOD but more importantly what fits our environment.

I am sure a lot of people would agree that pic related looks cools for the aesthetics and also as a symbol of power and what it putrescent.

Punk for me flows into this as well as a stray look at the time, it looked nothing like anything else so was shrugged off by most as some gay shit edgy teens who were up to no good wore, but that group think stems from a group wearing it and not a lone person its one a symbol of kinda rebellion and edgyness and what have you so it has an emotional effect something real for human soul but also looked cool for its aesthetics for a few but it only worked because a group did it and not a single person but it still looked cool or at least different.

In most art forms change is demanded for growth such as in films and the first time change happens it tends to be rusty but then someone else does it a lot better and it flows but with fashion it just seems to drag on for years and years and years with almost no change at all.

What I dislike is the current fashion that has been roughly the same style since what 1920's maybe earlier? It is the same rough cuts and designs the only big massive change are shoes and t-shirts with le wacky designs on it but again those are still dated.

Everything in fashion apart from edgy catwalk stuff and dead fads like goth and punk look the same making it dull and uninteresting. It is like we have been stuck with LA noire films for the past 100 years.
