I bought a pair 3 or 4 yrs ago in a blue-greyish color and bleached them to a light grey. I wore them more than any other paint of pants during that time and they only just recently got torn to wear I couldn't wear them. I'd say the quality is sound even with bleaching.

510s used to be good before they modified the fit recently, rise is way too long now and they're not even skinny

For guys with big butts and big thighs I recommend trying on 501CT. A lot of room in the waist and thigh with a nice taper from the knee down.

There's now a super skinny mens Levis - the 519. They are faggy hipster leggings.

Also, 'new' Levis quality is utter shit and that infamous Levis size inconsistency.

One pair of 510 fits like size 30, another like 34. Utterly inconsistent inseams. Cheap ass zippers.

I only buy Levis because i get them cheap at the WINNERS at $19 cad.

it entirely depends on how you want the pants to fit, and how you measure your inseam. i'm 6'1", with a inseam that's just barely 32" when measured to the floor. i've found that if i want pants that will sit on lowtop shoes without too many breaks, 30" inseam pants will usually work, with some pairs coming up too short for my liking. i can get away with a "cropped" look with anything 28" or shorter.
