What about it? Its a neat rug.

I can find lots of stuff thats close but not the same, like i can find stuff with the braided fringe or a similar texture (to me it looks like its made from recycled materials, search recycled rug) but i cant find any with the patches, maybe theyre not on the original and the owner added them when the rug broke.

Reminds me of those japanese boro jackets, the recycled textile look, the fact that its patched...like boro when they break, you sew on a patch, break again...new patch till the jacket is nothing but patches.

yes on amazon jp you can get many of the back catalog from 3rd party sellers, the website is obviously in japanese and you'll have to pay more for postage but if you're keen then go for it. If you want the newest issue I know Japan Centre in London stocks Japanese magazines, I believe they also sell Brutus maybe Casa Brutus but I think the price is bumped up a bit from retail.
