I've been to the NY store and the staff were awesome. Chucked in 3 packs of free mints and we spent a while talking about music and Australia (where I'm from).

I wash my clothes very very often in the summer and I don't wear any layers. I mostly stick to UC tops and jersey bottoms.

They're completely fine! I wear clothing pretty hard just by nature of my hobbies (biking, shows, etc.) but haven't ruined any Rick yet. My most noticeably worn non-shoe piece is a 6 month old silk blend tee and even then it's just starting to fray after pretty constant wear.

I hand wash pretty much everything Rick. Theoretically, careful washing should prolong the life of the garment by getting rid of dirt and sweat that would cause wear. I usually only worry about my cheap shit getting messed up by washing from deforming/fading, as Rick quality has seemed pretty beyond that to me.

I've also broken the rules occasionally and given things a hot machine wash/dry. Haven't ruined anything yet.

Not really, it's mostly vegetable tan white leather that goes yellow, and that's very rarely ever used (especially not for shoes). Only company I've ever seen is FEIT, I have a pair and they are definitely pissy now.

The Rick ones will just get dirty and scratched easy. Won't look super good for a clean shoe like a runner IMO.

I always thought high tops were the reason for the cuff - it keeps the pants tucked, so you get the look of tucked pants without having to readjust every 5 seconds.

I also don't always like the strangled silhouette the cuffs give the ankle when you wear lowtops. That being said, most of the time I've liked that look it was with prisoners and Rick shoes.
