back pockets are substantially lower and quite unflattering to the rear. plumbers crack is now a much more common occurrence as well, as originally intended with the low waist. tucking isn't even an option at all anymore. low waisted clothing is just an awful, awful mistake in general and a hideous leftover from the early 2000s.
