worked at a popular luxury store starting with a B in new york for about 6 months before I quit. It was fucking terrible. The pay is bad, really bad especially for the shit you have to do. First of all they make you dress exactly as they want you too, which means you end up spending 1K+ a month on prescribed expensive designer pieces from the store, with little employee discounts.

the majority of people that shop there are assholes, and expect you to do everything for them, such as get them 'mineral water' (not just regular plain fucking tap water, they always ask for mineral water), iron and hang up their coat, provide them with wet wipes, help them zip up things in the dressing room while they are but naked, provide them with extensive information into a particlar piece and just treat you like an asshole.

I started working at the LV store in NY after quitting B_______, and I have never looked back. everyone is rich and pretentious who shops there but not to the extent where they act like a man-baby.

Currently working at a boutique that could be considered "luxury". We sell stuff like MA+, Label Under Construction, Rick, BBS, Guidi, A1923, Leopold Bossert, Julius.

It's pretty cool talking to customers who have an interest in these type of clothes and introducing people who are curious about them.
