I've been on /fa/ for years, "develop your own sense of style" isn't a particular critique in itself. I've already had solid basic fits which are deemed boring because they're basic.
The CPs are, as the anon/trip I responded to above, in themselves nothing but a black (albeit goodlooking) sneaker, and if that was the only good quality you could spot then I don't feel that you have any idea of individuality youself since you're just jumping onto the trends set by this board.
I do however, have a bit more muscular legs which makes slim jeans look awkward with loose tees/jackets, fair critique.

I rated the other fit really fucking neato, not because this dude stands out in crowd, but because when you do look at him, his shit fits him, color combination is subtle without beeing memechrome, and it's a contemporary look constructed with pieces that are in themselves pretty much timeless, nothing features overt branding, prints, or details, that will be outdated next season.

this is not "jumping on trends set by this board", just aesthetic sensibilities that are pretty reasonable in themselves I think, but of course opinions differ.
