Brush stroke mourning band around my left forearm. Pic related, but colored bronze.

Meant to convey mourning, obviously, because I lost my sister and my parents. Bronze is the metal used in a literary series I've read, meant to store memory. Incorporating multiple concepts into one.

Ok the 1st one, shouldn't be on the elbow pit, but the dot work should 'fade' which will end up looking like normal shading. The whipshading on the pyramid should hold.
The elephant, that's a pretty whack job and the fact that the borders aren't defined, it's going to look bad. The numbers should be a tad bit larger to avoid turning into obscurity.

I'd reckon you're pretty safe with this one. I wish I could do it for you in person.
Understand that if you go to a shop they get paid by doing work on you. You could tell a swindler you want a unicorn buttfucking jarjar binks and they'll tell you "oh yeah, that would be sweet". Walk away.
If they want to alter your design, understand it's your body and you can say no without hurting their feelings.
If you show them those designs and they don't mention that the elephant and numbers WILL look bad in a decade while the pyramid SHOULD hold up, they aren't paying enough attention or don't know the trade well enough.
it's ultimately a 2 step process. Doing the work is on them, look through their portfolio. Are the lines that should be the same size actually the same size? Is there shading you don't agree with?

Really though, this design would be a safe bet if you want to copy/paste it on yourself. Best of luck.

Wash above the area and let the soapy water run across it. Don't slap it, or wear abbrasive clothing (tight denim for example), if it itches just gently rub it but in reality these tattoos aren't large amounts of work, mostly small lines... it won't be that much of a bother to you.

Used to cut years and years ago, tattoo artists haven't rejected me for scars. The two I've gone to to cover scars were kind of excited to do them, for some reason. The ink has held much, much better than I expected, even on my deeper scars (that could also just be because the tattoos are pretty new (1.5 yrs - 3 months). One artist who worked on the more extensive scarring said it wasn't so bad because the scars are 10+ years old. So I guess as long as you wait awhile, lol!

On that note, I wouldn't get a neck tattoo. You're much more employable with a birthmark.
