in isolation, tattoos can be aesthetic, cool, tasteful, brilliant, expressive. but i sincerely wonder of the worth they bring to a person who drops 2 months wages on a back piece or something.it's crazy. i guess it's really important to them.

it's sort of an indicator of someone's worldview, to a certain point. like all spending, it's an indicator of where they place their value.
