I expect the response from /fa/ to be pretty mild, but I hope I'll be proven wrong. Not that many here into actual fashion nowadays, beyond the core meme designers

But, damn. Wish I could go

OP here, pretty depressing that self-claimed fashion geniuses don't even respond to an exciting topic like this but rather circlejerk on other topics ...

I saw an ad in the papers about this, is this worth going to or is it going to be hella packed? What day should I go?
Only been lurking /fa/ for about a year and a half now and still developing a style but if I could find stuff to resell that'd be p great.

I'm going on wednesday between uni classes, wednesday is usually rather packed especially at dries ... that's why i went on saturday last year. don't worry too much about the day, you'll find nice pieces anyhow (unless you're really looking for the very rare archive pieces). I must say going is really worth it, I've been going for years and I always pick up a few pieces

Can you please explain this event a bit more so that I'm actually motivated to give a shit? it's easy to think you know so much about fashion but it doesnt seem that you're interested in telling people about it.

>> No.10503824

I can only visit one day.

Which day is /fa/ picking?

>> No.10503831

>>10503811

I'm not in anyway claiming that I know that much about fashion anyways I don't think anyone would profit from having this discussion.
let me briefly explain the event to you: twice a year there's the stock sales in antwerp (hosted by belmodo). this means a list of designers will sell archive pieces, pieces from the previous collection and rolls of fabric for very cheap. assuming everyone here is interested in fashion, i don't see how you could not be interested in attending an event where you could buy archive pieces from designers and meet fashionable people.

i'm going wednesday but might go back on saturday because they add new pieces to the sale during the week

Really depends of what you're looking at and what brands you'll go. Schneiders tends to be really cheap but DVN will still cost you a bit. For reference: I bought a few sweaters at dvn and they cost me around 180€, t-shirts were like 40-60€ and outerwear will still cost you a few hundred euros
