Fashion is like anything, you should behave in accordance to your own tastes. I think Rick's clothing is beautiful, and that's why I buy and wear it.

The only intention Rick has is for you to like his things and wear them. If you don't like it, fine.

If you don't understand it, maybe that's on you. I like how you are so quick to shrink an idea like art appreciation into "2deep4u". Why like anything? Are you supposed to just have a passing interest in things? Are we going to ignore that digging deep into any area of fine art is very rewarding, or that it alters your perception? Rick is the kind of designer that takes the history of clothing and fashion into consideration with his designs, as well as a sort of prediction of where it can, or should, go. If you are used to just fast fashion jeans and t-shirts everywhere, I can see how it would be jarring, but to me it looks very natural, it has a timeless quality and a very modern feeling to it.

I'm not going to listen to the radio all the time just so I can know all the music everyone talks about, I'm going to listen to shit I love to listen to even if I can't talk to most people about it. I'm not going to wear shit you think is appropriate because who are you, and why do you think I need to impress you? I don't really want anything to do with someone who has an issue with the way I look.If I'm crossing the street and people are staring, then whatever, I'm probably listening to music or talking to someone.

However his/your pods fit super shortly and just accentuate the geos massivness. As for the top half it looks like something any STEM student would find them self wearing every day to school. With the viscose/silk I would usually say to go on the smaller end, if you want to stack it around your waist. If it's too small it only takes a couple wears to stretch it out.

If you're that size you'll like want an XS.

The drop crotch is noticeable depending on what you wear it with. I only wear drop crotch with longer tops. It helps with the elongated silhouette.

I'm a bit taller than that, but quite skinny (~60kg) and I'm a size S. Size M wouldn't look ridiculous on me so... I guess it depends on how wide your shoulders are, really.

Opposite for me, lost interest in Rick a long while ago and sold it all to go pretty much "dadcore" for a lack of a better term describing my style now, which I've stuck with. If you're going to make the switch I'd recommend making sure you'll stick with it and don't settle on pieces and make sure you really want it. Reselling and shit is a pain.

If your new to Rick or designer clothing in general here are some essential pieces
1. Double layer t's, long or short sleeve
Get the unstable version if you can as they fit the most normal and you won't have to cut them. Sweaters are also an option.
2. Some type of elastic pants, imo the GOAT are prisoner drawstring but others work as well
3. Ramones or geos, if your a basic bitch like me then go with the ramones as they stand out less and look good with most things.

But above all go to the gym. If your proportions are off because your too fat or you have a twink body then Ricks clothes will look out of place.
