I wash my face with water before going to sleep
works wonders

>> No.10348884

In the morning if my face is a little puffy I'll put on an ice pack. After I remove the ice pack I use a deep pore cleanser lotion. In the shower I use a water activated gel cleanser, then a honey almond body scrub, and on the face an exfoliating gel scrub. Then I apply an herb-mint facial mask which I leave on for 10 minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine. I always use an after shave lotion with little or no alcohol, because alcohol dries your face out and makes you look older. Then moisturizer, then an anti-aging eye balm followed by a final moisturizing protective lotion.

this sounds retarded but what should i use to wash myself in the shower, and what deodorant should i use? make & spray or roll?

Wash my face with water three times a day and use moisturizer every once in a while.
Non alcoholic aftershave too

>>10348946
the thing is that there are some people who have longer, but less redundant, routines.

the structured face routine is this:

(ice pack)
deep pore cleanser lotion
(gel cleanser)
exfoliating gel scrub
herb-mint facial mask
(alcohol-free after shave lotion)
moisturizer
anti-aging eye balm
final moisturizing protective lotion

that is:

2 cleansers (3, counting the water-activated one)
2 exfoliators
3 moisturizers (4, counting after-shave)

it's just too much of each thing.

anyways, the mask is a "peel off face mask". used for exfoliation post-cleansing. can be bought here and there. you can also make your own using agar. it's a lot of fun.

My derma gave me this special sunscreen to reduce the redness of my acne while I'm using benzoyl peroxide to clear it up but I haven't really been using the suncreen all that much. If I become an hero, at least I'll die looking better.

Also, what are some of the other effects of accutane? Positive ones, obviously it helps acne. But does it help wrinkles, sebaceous filaments, etc? Because I've got a lot of those and it really fucks me off.

pls help. i have very dry skin and i have these odd red patches with thick, scaly dead skin on top. they go away sometimes, meaning you cant see them, but sometimes they reappear in the same spot as before. usually if im super on top of moisturizing it works, but not always. plus they are way worse in the winter than the summer. i went to the derma and she prescribed me alclometasone(eczema cream) but it didnt do anything. she said she wasnt sure if it was eczema. do you know if i can get rid of them somehow?
thanks op

I'm not sure if it help with wrinkles or blackheads but it definitely helps with oily skin. I wouldn't be surprised if it did help with blackheads. I wasn't a pizza face before but I would always have about 3 to 5 really bad deep skin pustules on my face at all times. Usually on my chin and jaw but sometimes on my nose and forehead. They were super painful and humiliating and no other treatment helped them. I've never had one since accutane. The worst thing I've gotten since is maybe a tiny whitehead if I got dirty and didn't wash my face.

If you have reasonably bad acne you can probably get it. I just had to try several other treatments (various face creams, antibiotics, etc.) before to prove I needed it. Accutane is really effective, but it can have extremely severe side effects, so it's usually something of a last resort.

I think you should see a dermatologist. hyperpigmentation is hard to treat on your own, especially if it's "severe". considering its location then you should seek professional help in order for you to not fuck things up. you should btw really see a doctor if you have an ongoing... infestation.

check images for "closed comedones" and check if it's what you seem to have. way more common than heat bumps. BHA/retinoids are commonly used to treat that.

My teenage days are behind me and I'm largely spot-free now. Though I still get these annoying as fuck whiteheads on my cheeks and nothing seems to do anything but squeezing them - which makes a horrible mess of my face for a few days afterwards.

What do?
