Yeah chelseas wouldnt go with that at all, but an exploder parka does need some more rick-esque things to complement it so I wouldnt reccomend it as a first piece.

Depending how much you sell your chelseas for you can easily get a pair of rick sneakers 2nd hand and maybe somthing extra like a a tee or some pants

I just need to decide whether i go for the slp look or rick look soon, because i need to buy a winter jacket, that will fit my chelseas. The other choice is that i sell my chelseas, and don't buy a winter jacket so i can save my money for end of season sale. Then i should be able to cop jacket + sneaks and maybe like a tee or some pants if i get some of it secondhand

Not the same guy, but I'll hop in and say they fit tts. The leather stretches enough to accommodate different calf sizes, though the one problem I have with them (same with my 988) is that I have high arches so it's tough for me to get my foot in the shoe, and the stacks look poor on my because the top of my foot is really stretching the leather. I feel like the work best in people with flatter feet. Quality wise, they are fine. It's the same sole you expect with Ramones. The leather is stretch leather which never feels "high quality" but it's certainly not cheap. Not like the shell toes. That being said I was certain I would rip them if they caught on something

I'm curious to see what sort of prices these drop to when they hit sale. The initial run of these last season were incredibly hard to find. I only ever saw them in physical Rick Owens stores, at least for the men's. They were significantly more expensive (2,900 I think) and taller. I liked them a lot more. Last pair of those sold for 1500 on grailed but that was the only time I've seen a pair. These newer ones you can find for around 1100-1300 right now and they aren't selling.

Try spot washing the stains. If they won't go away, you can use one of those tide pens, they work well.

You can always machine wash, but I don't do that personally on anything that I don't want the colors to run. If you do, wash cold, tumble dry as low as possible or hang dry. Some machines now have a "hand wash" and "hang dry" setting that is about as gentle as possible.

Anon with those socks here.

I'd agree with most of your comment except the socks fit one size big. The soles are the same as the geos which have really roomy toeboxes. I wear EU41 in Geos and I had to take an EU40 to be able to fit in the socks.

Got these from Julian Fashion. It's a legit boutique in Italy (Farfetch also sources the Rick pieces from that boutique except the socks are sold for 2 grands). New members get 20% off first purchase so I got those for less than EU price. I paid a total of 1160 if I'm not mistaken (include customs and duties).

Moody was pretty boring, kind of like anthem was. Interesting pieces but nothing to carry it to thst next level. That being said I think it captured its namesake title very well. Totally disagree. The fabrics and weight of the designs supported by the Pearl and blood color palette resulted in one of the more brooding and weighty collections. I loved how this sort of hardness was contrasted with the boiled cashmere and textured wools. The cashmere trenches were incredible. Also I think this was the first collection to use the leather band collars.

Also, pic related fit is one of my favorites across all collections.

Agreed I think may of the pieces from the show were great and on par with other seasons but the presentation just wasn't there for some reason. I would honestly say I disliked vicious was a worse collection and more people would feel the same way if it weren't for the incredible performance that accompanied it. Many of the pieces were just so dull and unfun. I know it was supposed to be a sportier show to promote the Adidas collab but it really didn't work in my eyes.

Sphinx is my favorite.

I didn't expect to like "graphics" of any sort (it's embroidered, but still) on a top, but the way this collection came together feels progressive for Rick and still totally wearable. Maybe even practical. Some of those techno fabric anoraks will make great winter coats that should last through the rain unlike moody with the cashmere trenches.

I feel the same comparing Faun to Cyclops though. The runway for cyclops was a huge miss for me. Too many circles?

Yeah I see what you mean about the shearlings, they dont make me hot so much as just make my feet really comfy.

If I start walking round town and wearing them for 8 hours then my feet get pretty hot during the summer so I would probably wear my geos or something. I get pretty cold feet just usually so I dont find it much of a problem

Shorts suck especially wit the shoes. Top definitely doesn't work with the bottom, it's alright overall I guess just very boring and the proportions suck.

does anyone here own pod shorts? im 160 pounds and a size 34us waist which translates to a size 52 it / Large, according to the rick website size chart. Should i get my true size or size down to a 50 /medium? also, do drkshdw and mainline fit the same?

>> No.10360720

>>10360673
Go Medium. I'm pretty sure mainline and drkshdw fit the same

>> No.10360721

>>10360673

You're 160 and a 34 waist? How tall are you?

I would always recommend sizing down in pods. They fit quite large.

>> No.10360731

>>10360720
thanks, i was worried about them looking too big in the butt
>>10360721
6ft tall. is it only pod shorts that fit large or is it everything? or anything with a drop crotch?

what part of a geobasket could they cut out for that?
the triangular part underneath the stripe?

The rule of thumb is all rick pants with elasticated waists you should size down on, so pods/prisoners etc

>> No.10360753

>>10360731

Yeah. I think you could even try going down to a 48. Mainline pods fit very large.

>> No.10360900

Try them on if you can, you would be fine with a medium, put may get away with a small you never know, i seem to remember

XS =28-32
S=31-34
M=33-36

My big Faun purchase finally arrived. Been swooning over this peacoat since the runway.

Really happy with it. The length is perfect. The poor guy needs to be steamed/ironed desperately though.

The corzo buttons are beautiful. The texture is marble like. The weight is surprisingly heavy for how lightweight the actual wool is. The nylon is similar - is very light but feels sturdy when worn like the runway as a strap.

Awesome. Will post fit pics another time (technically working right now)
