First off, those shoes are godawfully ugly. Pointed toes are okay in theory but look ridiculous in person, especially if you're going for a brogued look. The burnished toes indicate cheapness to me for some reason, though that's far from a rule.

Second, it's a goddamn Chinese shoe. They are probably made of paper and workers' tears. If the shoes were in any way, shape, or form decent, then an American reseller would start an ongoing relationship with them. That hasn't happened.
