Lifts can be bought on Amazon. Full-foot lifts are the most comfortable and effective, but they don't fit on all shoes. Half-foot lifts (ones that are just the heel) will work in almost all shoes but they're less comfortable.

Literally no one gives a shit if you're 6' vs 6'3". No 6' person has ever been called short. There's a line between not wanting the unaesthetic stigma of being short and being so insecure that you need to arbitrarily be the tallest guy in the room.

Meanwhile if you're 5'9 and wear 3 inches of lifts than you've effectively eliminated all disadvantages of being short, because you'll be a height that is universally agreed on to not be unaesthetic. Sure, being taller may have its advantages, but beyond 6' or so it would just be an unnecessary bonus.
