So I'm thinking of purchasing these boots, basically before you judge I have a gift voucher that covers the amount of these shoes and shipping so it's free. Problem is do I size down on these boots?

I've bought river Island boots before in a size 7 and they were kinda huge on me, assuming that I always need to size down on boots? Help guys, advice on asos boots?

Indeed, I checked and it says real leather. But my issue is with size, I honestly don't want the hassle of returning it tbh

Why half a size larger? From my experience a size 7 boot is huge and long for me but people say asos branded shoes are true to size..

Not unless they look like clown shoes which was what my other river Island boots looked like even though it was my size

Used to have ASOS derbies, they fit TTS but can and probably will stretch out about half a size bigger once the sole becomes pliable and the leather softens more

How was the quality? Looking at their stuff I get the feeling it'll fall apart after two steps, but they manage to make pretty much everything on their site look shit.

I had em for maybe 2 years more or less before they just got so worn down the sole started to break apart. Not too bad for 60-80$ shoes (i think, this was like 5 years ago atleast).

Managed to develop some interesting patina but as youd imagine wasnt that great. Got a few compliments tho

They got pretty comfy around the upper but dont expect much for the sole. And honestly no point in resoling either with those prices.
