top length is around from the base of the palm to the tip of the pointer finger.
I live on the beach in Florida, it gets windy, would be nice to have something just shorter than this but that's what I always go for.
also, lose the face fur?
I've been ignoring my hair since starting work full-time with summer classes.

Best for your as I can see from here would be a fade with about an 1.5-2in length left on top to be styled. You can ask at a proper salon too.

This is my hair after waking up(when it's greasy)
Was thinking of getting a faux-hawk (My hair is usually malleable after I've showered), but I am also planning on dyeing it a lighter brown.

Okay, so, I got a question. I went and got a haircut recently and got a fade for the first time in my life. When the hair dresser asked what I wanted, I said verbatim "I want a 1 up to about right here on the sides and back and then fade it into the top. Top about 2 inches and front 3" and then made a ring around my entire head with my finger to show her how high I wanted the #1 to be. She gave me pic related. Is there a reason that she didn't do the #1 on the back like I clearly asked for? Does it look weird or something?

I got a haircut like this and it looks really good. I also discovered that if I blow dry my hair it actually straightens out. Even my beard is completely filling out now.

Once my hair gets long enough I think I'm going to tie it back.
