you cooouuld use a colored polish and gradually darken them if you wanted, but it might fuck something up, like stain the stitching sor something.

Up to you man. If it were me, I'd probably use some cordovan polish and turn them that dark red/maroon color.

How can you change the color of leather? I know there won't be a significant change in color, but are some things you can do? Any way to achieve this chromexcel effect if the leather wasn't originally treated like that?

How does sunlight affect leather? Should darken them, right?
