I feel like fashion forums throw around the word "quality" a lot without actually considering what makes clothes high-quality.

I own a good amount of All Saints stuff. I own 2 shirts, a pair of shorts, a sweater, and a pair of hi-top sneakers. I bought all of it when it was on sale and don't regret it at all.

One of the shirts I own from them is over 5 years old and has still kept its shape and material. In Canada their clothing is practically unheard of, and I've received a lot of compliments when I wear their stuff. /fa/ is comparing to fast fashion, but I'd honestly compare it more to designer clothing that's reasonably priced. It's great quality if you take proper care of it, and all of their products I've owned look and feel expensive and luxurious.

This is coming from someone who owns and wears high-end designer clothing. I love my clothes from Margiela, Tom Ford, and Damir Doma, but they're honestly pretty comporable in quality to the stuff I've gotten at All Saints.

At a certain price point, most brands of a similar quality, unless their products are bespoke. You're really buying into the history and prestige of a brand when you throw money down for luxury clothing, not quality. Certainly, an APC jacket would be extremely high quality, but I would doubt it would be noticeably better than something from All Saints.

Pic related, shoes that /fa/ told me would "fit horribly" and be "shit quality." They fit fabulously and look fantastic. I've worn them a ton and they've yet to look worse for wear.

/fa/ pls help me rn, this decision is haunting me.

So I want to get one of two all saints shoes that are on sale rn.

I've asked multiple friends who are into fashion what they thought and the jury is completely split. Everyone thinks they're both nice, but I can't decide which one I like.

I feel like the grey ones are more my style and I've already ordered them. That said, I can still change my order and exchange my shoes for the other pair.
