The new one from the exclsive Zegna line. had high expectations as I really like this line and the note pyramid looked promising. What I god instead of a good quality sylvan fragrance was some low-designer overlysafe woody thing.

I got a sample of Rochas Moustache this morning, so was keen on compering them. There's almost no difference between these two for my nose. Someone couple threads back had a really good call by bringing it up.

I really expected more from it. The myrrh is nice but Roja does cognac miles better. It's quite austere in form and I can imagine someone liking it for it though.

Then we went to the last floor of Harrods where there's a selection of uber-luxurious fragrance boutique (and only Arabs around). We went to Frederic Malle first as I wanted to buy something for the girl as she was really bummed after the fashion week where she didn't get any work. I really liked the shop for a simple design akin to Malle's bottles and visible everywhere respect that Malle has for his perfumers. Her favorite was POAL but it's the one I bought for my girlfriend some time ago and a man must know limits with cheating, so I bought her a small bottle of Musc Ravageur instead. Till now she only used Marc Jacobs and some other designer crap, so that's her first grow up frag and fuck me she smells soooo goood with it. Then we went to the most ridiculous shop in this arguably quite ridiculous department shop. Namely:
