Now on to review my last sample. Next time I'll order some MFK.

>Tauer LDDM
Very dry opening, woody, obviously oriental. It's crepuscular, intoxicating, with amber and spices, dried woods, foreign smells. I dont smell coriander, I'm getting woods and amber with a tinge of cumin and jasmine that's not at all obnoxious and brings everything together.
What sets it apart from other orientals I've come across is a beautifully dry, rustic bitterness. This isn't luxurious; it's natural, raw.

Like the name suggests, this is a "place" frag. But this is not a sultan's harem or any of the usual lavish images conjured by orientals: it's a forgotten temple in Petra, a sunset on Arrakis or a meteor shower over a caravanserai.
It's not boldly sensual or opulent like you might expect of an unapologetically oriental fragrance, instead there's a mystery to it, an elusive, soft and smoky darkness that some call masculine but that I can definitely picture on a confident, playful but elegant woman; I would love to smell this on a girl, it's so complex, deep and smooth. Not stereotypically seductive, but I feel like either sex could make this attractive and inviting, because there's a poetic romance to LDDM. It's the kind of scent that wraps itself around you and brings an aura with it, and this aura is fascinating: complex, shadowy, warm, calm yet powerful with a hint of something mystical.
This is a night scent and I think it can be worn in any season.

LDDM is truly great, yet I'm debating whether to buy a bottle. I'm not sure if it's "my" kind of frag, as in if it fits my personality. Ganymede does, but LDDM might smell too attractive to me personally, maybe because I like oriental girls. What I mean is, this is 100% the frag I'd give my gf, but I'm not sure I want it on myself even though it's lovely and not clearly feminine. It would be a great date frag, but maybe not on me.
Even still, LDDM is a 10/10. Highly recommend anons sample this. Are the other Tauer frags just as good?
