A few threads back a watchmaker posted about having a P80 on his bench. It was confirmed that it does have a synthetic escapement, like the Sistem51. BUUUUUT. There's also P80s with a metal escapement and a silicon balance spring, it's the COSC version of the Powermatic 80, but it's also pricier than the regular P80.

The Powermatic 80's synthetic escapement doesn't need a lubrication as it is self-lubricating. It doesn't have a regulator either, as the rate is set at the factory with a laser.
