Are you an retard? The state of modern uniforms back then was still of wool, leather, and cotton canvas. Nylon was brand spanking new and used largely in highly technical applications like parachute shrouds and climbing ropes. They lacked proper uniforms for the Russian winter but that was out of overextended supply chains/hubris that they’d have Stalin licked before winter set in, not owing to some smoothbrain Luddite uniforming practice. Arguably, the Heer was better uniformed in winter than their allied adversaries on the western front since wool is much more suited to winter utility garments than is cotton canvas.
