Anyone own any Thorogood boots? I'm ordering some of the safety toe heritage boots for work but I'm not sure what size to get. I'm an 8 in vans authentics. I guess red wing sizes may also help

the way it's fitting him is basically spot on what I'm looking for.
My only problem is that it says 11 inch thigh, whereas my N&F models all say 11.5 (both WG and SG models)

is there a variation in the way each has been measured?
