First, the bottom half is fine. But you need a shirt that isn't as loose fitting and is more accentuating to your shoulders so you don't look as frumpy. If you don't want to be overly complicated as I can see you seem to be a bit more "casual", go for just a tshirt under a nice sweater, one with an argyle pattern would be nice. The left and right ones in this picture are good examples. Just make sure they are not oversized on you but not too small to where they are too short/too tight, and pay attention to the fit.
