now for the actual advice, don't make getting a girlfriend a life goal, just try and live a full life that makes you happy, people will notice and a girlfriend will come in time

Just go for it anon, if there's anything I regret in life, it's that I was a disgusting beta during my teens, who was afraid of what people thought of me. Getting rejected by girls might sting the first few times, but in the long run it'll make you more confident.

And even if she ends up saying no, don't stop shopping there, don't avoid her when you're there either, in the end, it's not a big fucking deal.

threads like these make me feel depressed, and most of all very lonely

I spent most my youth dwelling a basement so I feel like I have a social handicap, when I'm out with friends I can keep up with most conversations but as soon as stuff gets personal I have nothing to talk about because I have literally never had anything meaningful with anyone, makes me feel very empty

there were plenty of grills interested in me back in highschool, but I decided I wanted to play Runescape and talk to girls on Habbo :')
