What are some good, relatively inexpensive tech wear basics?

I saw these pocketable shorts at uniqlo and was surprised at how nice they are, although they're mostly sold out at this point. They seem comfortable enough to run in, but also have 3 zip pockets so you can wear them without your keys falling out.
