I'm right there with you. I like wearing my tag mall shitter as much as any of my higher-end watches.

IDK if anyone remembers, but I have this older tag shitter (picrel) that is losing around 40 s/d. I paid $400 for the watch.

I talked to a couple of small watch repair shops in my area (i live in a high COL city in the US) and got the following responses/quotes:
1) $350 for service
2) "we only work with quartz watches" lmao
3) $85 for regulating the watch and $650 for the service

Are these the prices I should be expecting or are these people trying to rip me off? At this point I likely wont service the watch since I rotate my watches out pretty frequently so losing 40 s/d isnt a huge deal. I mainly wanted to get the service since I like the watch and had been told on here that it would only be around $150.
