I like streetwear a lot on other people

it's not so much that the quality is bad, it's just a lot more expensive than stuff like yuketen. I've never paid more than 250 (before shipping + tax) for a pair of Yuketen, and visvim just doesn't come close to that price range. The quality difference is small, and depending on which shoe, it's not always better.

I'm not saying you pay for nothing, but it's not for a better built shoe or a shoe made from better material. It's for design, visual details, stuff like that. If you really love a pair of visvim shoes, that may be worth it to you. I just haven't liked one pair enough to make that kind of purchase.

Depends how they fit, which may not be perfect, because you can't undo the break-in process; they're broken in to some other guy's feet, so you'd better hope his feet are pretty close to yours. I hope you're happy with the look of the leather as-is, because I doubt you can do much to revive it.

That said, they're not inherently ugly boots. I hope you have only the workweariest fits in mind for them
