Varusteleka is right, an 80%/20% mix or anything around is the best in my opinion. Your main enemy will be moths, and that's all I could suggest in terms of treatment if there is such a thing. Wool is probably the best you're gonna get naturally without having to waterproof (can you spray wool, I actually don;t know) or do anything to. It shouldn't pick up too much odor
as well as being slightly anti-septic, but not much of it is worn close to the skin for that to matter. I have a wool T-shirt so testing that is ongoing. Wool is a bit weird, a good quality one will feel much lighter but keep you just as warm, my swiss greatcoat is super light compared to a soviet one but always surprises me with the warmth.

Hmm there's not much out there in milsurp. US and British stuff from the 50's, especially the shirts. Finnish and Swedish stuff obviously. Russian stuff is there but not always that good.
