I understand what you're saying but personally I like the line belts draw exactly because it draws attention away from the lack of continuity between pants and shirts. Even with a black suit and belt you have the buckle drawing attention.
It's like a watch. Faggots say a watch shouldn't be visible under a suit but I say fuck them, I would wear the Chronometre Blue loose just so it would always slide out and be visible.
