>went out drinking last friday
>wore what I consider to be casual wear
>close fitting, non-pleated/creased burgundy chinos
>dogtooth pink dress shirt with sleeves rolled up and top two buttons undone
>plain (non-tassled etc) tan/brown loafers
>asked by numerous people if I'd just left work

Is this too formal for casual occasions or do people just have shit taste? I wouldn't go to work dressed like that unless it was friday.
