apple invests a lot of time/money into making iphones seem exclusive and fashionable, but everyone has one. they're the most generic, normcore phone on the market. they are the northface of phones. I was watching a documentary on Chinese sweatshops and this bitch dressed in rags literally pulled an iphone 5s out of her pocket.

I mean, the marketing is genius. make something seem like it's only for the upper-eschelon but then make it available to everyone. it's disgustingly brilliant. every average joe on the planet is walking around with an iphone, a smug grin planted on his lips, actually believing he's special for owning one.

as for the watches, I think it's too gimmicky to be /fa/. design-wise, would look a lot better with a round face rather than rectangular.
