i meant to say quartz and mechanical, not chronograph and mechanical. i just happen to like chronographs more.

no benefits of having mechanical. people like them here because they function on movement i.e. they are powered by movement of the parts. quartz run on battery. so people like them because of the engineering or whatever

they tend to be more expensive. and uglier imo
