it does seem that hamcus/bbs other designers sorta dominate this niche at the moment but my real gripe is this: I don't think I could ever justify completely destroying some expensive hamcus sweater that already looks distressed, etc

for me personally I try to pull together entirely surplus/workwear/thrifted stuff not just because it's relatively cheap but because it feels more rewarding to pull together a bunch of odd pieces that come together to fit this niche

I really enjoy workwear pieces with really minimal branding that take to patina really well or finding leather jackets at thrifts that have interesting features and so on

I live in a colder climate so I generally focus more on cold weather stuff but if you have any warm weather stuff I'd really appreciate it
