You should design the colors, the shapes and where the seams are and the individual patches with bit more attention. The concept is cool but the execution is lacking.
Like maybe try with only two or three kinds of fabric at first so the colors will match better and it isn't super loud and make the seams strictly horizontal or vertical so the pants have coherence
Also holes and distressing naturally makes them look more 'authentic' in a sense but just be careful if you artificially distress them as it usually shows. Also I'd recommend checking out patched distressed clothing just to see how actually destroyed pants are patched and fixed, using that as inspiration where you will throw your patches will give it subtle but very crucial feel of 'authenticity' and natural look so to speak.
