I could see post apocalyptic coming into mainstream fashion, especially with all this crazy shit happening in the news:
>grungy trashed and aged clothes
>muted, earthly colours mixed with blacks
>ripped jeans, jumpers and jackets
>basic materials like wool, denim, cotton, leather
>either with hints of military through bulky boots and jackets or the cleaner version would be a heroin chic twist with overcoats and sleeker boots
>plain patches
>very little patterns
>no tec materials, no poly-synths
Mainly because it would be trickle down from what RickO, AnnD were/are doing and a more wearable version of the gothninja trend that passed. It would also be passed down through people picking up the internet fashion game late as I think its becoming more and more acceptable to have an outlandish personal style but not acceptable enough to go any further then what i suggested.

however; looking at what most people are starting to wear it will be closer to tecware with a strong focus on nike+adidas sneakers as well as a surge of heathgoth. streetware is getting more and more prominent with it adopting lighter colours and pale pallets.

I think fashion is lagging behind a lot, I think StyleZeigist, reddit and here are all showing that with a lack of new ideas and not creating anything different but instead just building upon what we have but with little or no progression. I dont think we can rehash old ideas much longer.
