I've always had a big forehead and a receding hairline, and it has gotten worse, but I think my hairline tends to be not as obvious when I've got longer hair on top. I've been wanting to grow it back out but don't know if my hairline is too far gone or if the receding hairline in general makes it look like I'm coping too hard.

Pic on left is 3 years ago where you can see hairline pretty clearly, middle is 6 months ago, right is 3 months when I decided to shave it, where hairline looks real bad. Hair's about half an inch longer now and hairline doesn't look that exaggerated but obviously shaved shows where it's growing most densely. Can post a current pic if helpful.

Take whatever I have to say with a grain of salt cause I clearly don't even know how to figure out my own shit.

You're good looking but the way your haircut makes your head poof out at the top looks odd to me. I'd keep the sides closer to your head to cut down the silhouette but you also have a high part so maybe what you're doing is ideal.

Always jealous of dudes with this type of hair, especially short sides and which you have the cheeks and jaw for with a bit lower body fat percentage. Not telling you to lose weight or anything cause you look pretty skinny it's just where genetics says your bf is gonna stay so we gotta deal with it as it is.
