There's a little too much going on and it's rather distracting. I think it'd be better if you chose one statement piece to highlight and toned down the rest. I really like the boots. Maybe it's just me, but I think the pants make your legs look short.

Your jeans are a little too baggy and I'm not fond of the wash. A very basic outfit that you see on guys who don't care too much what they look like. Shoes seem interesting but it's hard to see in the pic; in general they don't really go with what you're wearing.

I actually like 1 better since 2 just looks like basic columbia/northface sweater, especially in the dark and when drinking, although I think the hairstyles for the outfits should be switched.
