how is this even possible? it's perfect. i want this hair desuilia.

I have a sort of love-hate relationship with this haircut.

My problem is that every other day I want short-ish sides and back so I can go for the HY look but half of the time I want to grow sides/back quite long for the "pushed back along the head" cut which fits me quite well too.

I've started growing out the sides for three times now but I hate this middle part where the sides are like over 5cm and fall a bit over the ears so they don't look good with HY and still are also way too short for the other look.

The good thing is I've been growing out the top all this time. Currently my hair is very similar to these

length-wise on top, maybe 1 or 2 cm longer.

This time I've been growing out the sides for ~2 months but now I really feel like going for long-top-HY again.
Probably even go short as in this /fa/'s favorite HY pic on the sides and maybe bit longer in the back of the head.
