i don't read anything on tumblr, i only follow fashion blogs, looking for some architecture too
foucault and butler are just required reading, part of being informed enough to have an opinion on things. just because this generation's version of the livejournal vampyre is latching on to gender identity and expression while constructing their own nascent identity doesn't make this stuff any less important, so maybe instead of bleating "tumblr" at me you could engage in the discussion like an adult.
