current routine
>Get out the shower,
>comb hair directly back so it's out of my face
>when it's not completely wet I add some layrite pomade
>Blow dry hair up for vollume
>apply wax (whatever american crew wax is called)
My issue is getting my hair where I want it when I apply the wax, and the hold. If I use to much water to dampen my hair the hold is shit but it will look nice wheras if I use SLIGHTLY less water my hair is a weird slightly frizzy mess

I use wax, which works fine if there is no wind or I'm not moving about, otherwise my hair slowly just falls to my face and flattens out. Any suggestions on how to get a better hold? I've considered hairspray but I can't fucking apply it right for the life of me and no nothing of decent brands
