I had a homeless guy, drunk or high, attempt to physically remove money from my personage in a bodega last year. I was with a new friend and I think he bugged out a bit when I threw the man into a freezer and then into the street with the help of the proprietor.

If someone invades my personal space and doesn't respond to a verbal admonition, things may get physical. I will shove if there's not another viable option. It all depends on my read of the situation. I honestly wouldn't even bother on most days - I'll bow out unless I'm sure I can handle it without getting arrested or even worse, bitten.

No, it is not good enough for you and it's not good enough for any reasonably intelligent man. What you're proposing is nothing more than caving in to the pressure of these people who torment you. It is weakness, and it is cowardice, and it is also the easy way out. You are better than this. You may be 'proud' of your grades, but you clearly don't care about them on a deep enough level to let their successes redefine your own opinion of yourself.
What I'm suggesting is to do what makes you afraid. Do what you have secretly wanted to, face up to fears one after another after another until their power over you falls away like dead skin.
You want to reduce the frequency of bullying and name calling? Lace up your boots and stand up for yourself. If someone hits you, you fight back. If someone calls you a name, you get in their face and you tell 'em to fuck off.
Getting your ass kicked is a walk in the park compared to living your life in the shadow of bullying. Stand up for yourself, and the animals will find the next easiest target.

That's how it works in nature, and that's how it works in High School. I'm not telling you to be a school shooter, either, I'm telling you to face your bullies down and take back your self respect.
