I don't know about France but in Germany it's a historical reality that Jews have been the leading figures in communist revolts such as the Spartacus uprising , the Munich Soviet republic, the mutinies by the end of the war.
I suppose if you have no sense of the historical reality of Soviet communism and what ills it brings practically and spiritually for the nations it swallows you wouldn't understand how nationalist have an issue with that.
