I hate you fucking shills so much. I fell for your meme and on the solovairs I got, they fucking forgot to weld the midsole together. Let that sink in. They forgot. to weld. the midsole. together.

I couldn't believe it when I opened the box and looked up shit on the internet and voila: Lots of negative reviews about their quality. Some guy on reddit had literally his outsole separating from the shoe after 2 weeks. He wrote to solovair and they said (no joke) that this is a sign of a quality sole that can be replaced and bla bla.

Don't fall for the solo-meme.

They fit pretty much exactly like Docs. I have mono docs and got some solovairs about 3 months ago and they are maybe 2mm larger than the docs, so very insignificant in size difference.

Be aware though, my pair was fucked up at the side. (pic related) + I read a lot of bad reviews on their quality. A guy on reddit had his sole split from the shoe after 2 weeks of wear. Solovair didn't even give a shit and only reacted once they saw his post on reddit to do damage control.

I fell for the meme and bought soloshits after having owned mono docs for about 2 years. The leather, sole and overall construction is exactly the same. It's literally the same shoe, including the cheap, thin trash leather. The only difference is that Docs are stiffer initially because they coat the leather with a thicker plastic than soloshit. (it's literal plastic btw)

TL;DR: Solovair is the exact same shoe as made in Asia docs, just worse quality control.

Solovairs are in now way of 'higher quality' than made in Asia docs. It's the same cheap leather, only with less plastic coating. Everything else is 100% the same, except Solovair has fucking horrendous quality control. They simply forgot to weld the mid-sole ends together on my pair (pic related). There's a guy on reddit whose sole completely split after 2 weeks of wear + there's many stories like that. Docs are better.

Didn't see a regular boot or fuccboi thread, so I'm asking here.

Bought some solovairs and they had this really ugly production flaw out of the box. Unfortunately I already wore them and didn't notice right away. Basically they didn't weld the actual sole together and now it sticks out weirdly on one shoe.

Any idea how to fix this? I can basically push it in place, but how to permanently get it right without it popping back out? Any experience with using a heated knife or glue? Any ideas?

Also don't buy solovair. They're 99% the same as made in Asia docs, just a little less plastic coating.
