When unscrewing, don't pull the crown out prematurely - wait for the 'pop'. When screwing it in, turn it backwards until you feel the entrance of the thread before turning forwards, so that you avoid cross-threading. Does that make sense Anon?

I am sorry, Anon. On the one hand, you have survived a cancer that might have taken your life if left unchecked, and on the other it has deprived you of a choice for the future. It's not easy having choices taken away from you, nor is it fair. That's the worst part, actually: that we live in a society where 'fairness' is encouraged, and yet it may not bear out in the gamble of life.

There are always positives, but you may have to dig deep to find them. You have time on your side (i.e. you're young), and time is the thing that no one can ever get back or manufacture. If you are of sound mind and body, you have the time to accomplish things in life that can help you to leave a legacy behind. Biological legacy is not the only one that matters, nor is it the only one that makes a difference. But it will require you to determine it for yourself, since you know your situation best. You know your strengths, and you can work to shore up any weaknesses that may be there too. You have the power to do all of that, but it is definitely not easy, nor is it a guarantee of anything. Too many in life work hard and have 'nothing to show for it'. We work hard to have the chance to be remarkable. That's all it is...a chance. Does that make any sense? There is so much in life that can give someone meaning, but it might require redirecting the expectation.

Mine was from around 1998 or so, after Omega changed to Superluminova. It'll never be piss coloured unless it gets moisture damage. There are a few models of watches that existed in both iterations (Speedmaster Pro, this Mark 40, the 'Bond' Seamaster 2531.80 and the quartz variants, and others I'm sure).

Yup, still alive. I drink far less often, and in far smaller quantities. Life is too busy now. As for posting...quite honestly, there's not much to post about these days. It's all...been done before.

How are you? What watch are you wearing today?

Thanks, but it's just how the fluorescence reacts to the blacklight. Normally, the only lume is on the hands and the indices.

What are you wearing Anon?
